We've all noticed that a majority of the fantasy art out there today seems to be centered on females when, historically speaking, warriors and the lot were majority male or at least equals such as in sorcery. But, it goes beyond this as women wear armor and clothing designed for sex appeal rather than protection and a lot of it has them wearing high heels which would be ridiculous in battle. And you wear all that heavy armor but nothing to protect your head because the artist wants to show the woman's pretty face?
I'm sure you've noticed a lot of things that really don't make a lot of sense such as orcs being such a terrible threat in battle and then they get wiped out by the hundreds by a single warrior with an ordinary sword and armor. Why even bother having enemies for them to fight if they are so easily defeated and why need heroes when it appears the enemy is so easily defeated that a maid could wipe out an entire army with a mop bucket?
So, what irks you about modern fantasy art today that really, if you think about it, makes little to no sense?
