An art site is going Down.. was created by BenBischop

Hi Folks,

Is there any interrest in helping or supporting an Art site, what is almost of-line, this the site: www.ambientdimension.com/
i'm still a menber, but the owner can't keep it up anymore, i learn it two days ago, any thoughts...?

It is expensive to keep an own a site.
I pay a hundred Euro's a year to keep the site up and have a unlimited bandwide with a site of 5000mb
That is a 110 Dollars and a lot of people can't do this. I save special for it.
The only thing to keep things up seems today that you gain advertisement.
It is a choice you make to do so. Never wish a site down, because it is something build by heart.
It is like the vendors leaving and the income is not alike what needs to come in.
This way we lost RDNA, Hivewire and many, many more.

I was spending $115.00 a MONTH with the old sites so now you know why we made this move. It's a shame to see Nephanor's site going as I understand what he's saying. We hope to eventually be back on a larger server eventually so we can maybe do more like he is explaining.

Right now we're still trying to get the bugs out but we should gradually get things more active.

As for Nephanor, we'd gladly welcome him and some of his members over at DSA. You guys go play your "Alien Abduction" game and get them over here
