I'm actually sad to see them go as there's a lot of history there. Members who have since passed away will be gone and only those with memories of them remain. When you think of a website, you generally just think of the site and not the members. Yet, behind every username is a person and people like Zawarkel, Midnight Storm, Original Kitten, Wawadave, Catamaran... they were all there as were many others who have since passed on. But alas, sometimes moving forward means demolition crews have to come in and knock everything to the ground so that you can rebuild anew to move forward into the future.
So, I will miss the old sites but the software was always very limited or end of life so that changes had to be made. I do hope that returning members will remember fond times at the old sites and maybe help us build for the future as things are a bit slow right now but we're looking to change that as we move forward.
